Is the Jayhawk Tennis Center open to the public?
Yes! We’re the only Kansas Athletics facility open to the public. Anyone is welcome to play here!

No, you do not have to be a member to play here! We do offer a membership option. This is most beneficial for those renting courts multiple times a week and/or taking multiple private lessons a month.
Do KU students get free Membership?
No, but we do offer a great rate for KU students. $20 per month with a one year commitment.
How much does it cost to rent a court?
For an hour on an indoor court, the price is $24 + tax for a member and $34 + tax for a nonmember. This cost is split between however many people are on the court (ie. A member would pay $6 + tax playing doubles for one hour).
For outdoor courts, members play for free and nonmembers pay $5 an hour. This cost is for each individual nonmember.
Do you have a ball machine to rent?
Yes and there’s no extra cost to use it! All you have to do is pay the court cost. Please let the front desk know you’d like to use the ball machine when you are booking your court so they can set it up for you.
Do you have classes for 3-4 year olds? Beginner adults/relearners?
