Mitchell Kibbe, Tennis Professional

Mitchell Kibbe grew up in Conway Springs, Kansas. He was on the Conway Springs High School tennis team and played #1 singles for the Cardinals all four years. Mitchell placed at state all four years and earned the state title in singles his senior year. Mitchell holds the most career varsity wins at Conway Springs along with the only player to ever win state in singles.

After high school, Mitchell attended Emporia State University where he achieved a Bachelors of Science degree in education and competed for the men’s tennis team. Mitchell was a starter for the Hornets all four years and voted player of the year his junior and senior years.

After college, Mitchell was an assistant coach at Free State High School. He is currently teaching high school mathematics at Free State and working as a part time tennis pro at Jayhawk Tennis Center.
