Ann Anderson, Tennis Professional

Ann Anderson is a PTR Professional and assists with the 10 and Under Program, promotions, and camps at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.

Prior to joining the Jayhawk Tennis Center, Ann helped coach underserved kids in San Diego through various non-profit tennis organizations.  She has played all of her life including USTA singles and doubles leagues and tournaments.

After returning to her home state of Kansas in 2005, she became PTR certified in 2008 and also attended the PTR 10 and Under certification training.  She taught 10 and under, adult beginners, senior tennis and managed tennis promotions at Wood Valley Racquet Club (Genesis/Wood Valley) in Topeka, Kansas for twelve years before joining the Jayhawk Tennis Center in 2017.

She has been published in the PTR “Tennis Pro” magazine regarding how to teach 10 and under children programs.

She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BA in Political Science and she and her husband reside in Lawrence, Kansas.
